S.I.T.E. Superhighway Association of Industry – Karachi., has been registered with the Directorate General of Trade Organizations (DGTO) on 22nd April 2009 and incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on 24th November 2010 and S.I.T.E. Superhighway Association of Industry is working as a registered trade body and this is the only platform of the industrialists of Site Superhighway Industrial area and playing a vital role for the betterment of the economy of Pakistan and a large number of export-oriented companies are fully operational in SITE Super Highway Industrial area Karachi.
SITE Super Highway Industrial area consists of two Phases. The Phase-I was established in 1992, whereas Phase-II was allotted in 2002. The industrial area spread well over 1550 acres approx.
Phase-I = 350 Acre: Originally 300 + 50 Acre added D/67 area. Phase-II = 1200 Acre Direct Employment = 80,000/= Approx. Operative units: 450 Approx. Trade = Towel / Textile, Cold Store, Warehouses / Godowns, Chemicals, Flour Mills, Rice Mills, Dall Mills, Fisheries & Sea Food, Frozen Foods, Mineral Water, Water Filters, Foods, Fast Foods Processed Items, Ready Species, Confectionery items, Fully Automated Electroplating Facility of Motorcycle Parts and Sanitary Products, Cushion Makers, Surgical Items, Surgical Tapes, Color Industry, Plastic/Molding Industry, Melamine Pots, Hotpots & Other Plastic Home accessories, Pharmaceuticals, Food Snakes, Ice Houses, Dying Mills, Fruits & Vegetable Packing Houses, Bucher Houses, Cosmetic Industry, Salt Industry, Tractor Parts, Pipe Industry, Adhesive Tape Industry, Packages Industry, corrugated Box Industry, Fabricators, Construction Industry, etc. Most of the industries that are housed at the SITE Super Highway Industrial area are exporting units, contributing millions to the national exchequer, and bringing much needed foreign exchange to our beloved country. SSHIA is the fastest growing Industrial area, as many are believing the future industrialization of Karachi city, rest of the areas of the city are almost fully occupied and beyond the feasibility to a new industrialist. The Industrial area is also emerging as one of the important industrial hub of Karachi and as well as our province Sindh.

Proposed Plan of Activities of Trade Organization Rules, 2013.
To provide the facility of urgent complaint response centre and solve the problems.
To provide and maintain the adequate power supply during working hours.
To provide and maintain the frequent water supply in the industrial area.
To setup upgraded CCTV setup in Industrial area. Gradually Migrating to IP Cameras. To enhance setup up 100 CCTV cameras command and control room with the assistance of police and rangers at association premises.
To make arrangement for first aid medical facilities initially at SITE Ltd., premises under the supervision of qualified medical staff SESSI. Continue pursuance shall be made for setup a proper facility of SESSI at Industrial area.
To keep (comparatively satisfying) law & order under control and safety measures with the help of Police and Rangers and keep continue patrolling around the clock by police and rangers.
Alhamdulillah Association is proudely operate a modern fire brigade station within the vicinity of the industrial area. This achievement is to ensure safety of assets of the members.
The industrial area is lacking street lights and its suggested to sanction Solar Street Lights.
To peruse and keep on requesting to Government Departments to initiate re-development projects of infrastructure such as roads, street lights, drainage etc.
To acquire a piece of land for the Industrial Area police station. Currently, Police Station is operational at the Temporality building. The Developer SITE Ltd., Land will be provided by SITE Ltd. and fully supported by Association. It will ensure the safety of life and property in the area.
To make proper arrangements for sanitation, drainage, and garbage waste disposal. It will facilitate clean-up arrangements of the industrial area.
To setup upgraded CCTV setup in Industrial area. Gradually Migrating to IP Cameras. To enhance setup approximately. 42 CCTV cameras command and control room with the assistance of police and rangers at association premises.
To peruse and keep on requesting to Government Departments to initiate re-development projects of infrastructure such as roads, street lights, drainage etc.
To pursue SITE Ltd., for obtaining new 8” dia Water Supply line to meet fast growing water demand from KW&SB for Industrial area.
As a result of continued pursuance, K-Electric Ltd., has set up a dedicated grid station for the SITE Superhighway Industrial Zone.
The extension and linkup of the Lyari Expressway up to the Northern bypass, as result, connect FB Area Industrial Area, North Karachi Industrial Area, and SITE Superhighway Industrial Area with each other.
The Association is working to setup a CETP (one of the seven CETP projects (proposed) with adequate capacity for recycling of waste water).
